Vacancies: State Project Coordinators, Program Specialist Microenterprise Development
OIC International (OICI) in collaboration with the Northern Nigerian State Governments is implementing the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC); a 5 year assess-design-implement project funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). OICI is seeking to recruit qualified individuals to fill the positions below at the just launched CBN-EDC program in Jigawa; Katsina, Zamfara states and proposed centres: Kaduna, Kebbi and Sokoto States.
Position: State Project Coordinators (SPC)
She/he typically reports to a Program Manager, Training.
Job Description
- Develop, coordinate and implement all tasks that relate to CBN-EDC project
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective stakeholders within the state
- Ensures that each team member understands their responsibilities and accountabilities
- Preparing and complies budgetary and progress reports
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess minimum Masters Degree in Community Development; Agricultural/Social Sciences; or Developmental Studies;
- Should have at least 5 years progressively professional-level experience in development-related work;
- Excellent Computer skills in MS Word Excel and Power Point are required to manage activity goals and achievements and good Writing skills.
Position: Program Specialist Microenterprise Development (PSMED)
She/He typically reports to a State Project Coordinator
Job Description
- Help design, build and deliver practical products and services to beneficiaries to start small business and keep them growing, including workshops, practicial worksheets, templates and other tools;
- Conduct training workshops and counseling to help clients; and
- Assist in business plan development and implementation.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidate must possess minimum Bachelor Degree in any relevant field;
- Should have at least 3 years working experience in development-related work
- Excellent Computer; writing; interpersonal; problem solving; and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze local, regional, and national business challenges and opportunities
