To further strengthen its capacity to fulfill its charter, the Institute currently seeks talented professionals in the below roles:

Position: Principal Manager –  Consultancy and Research

Ref: LPI/111/PCR

Qualification:

  • Reporting to the Registrar/CEO of the Institute, Your main responsibility will be to provide strategic direction and leadership to the Consultancy and Research Business Unit. In this capacity, you will enhance the institute’s ability to carry out quality training, research and consultancy aimed at improving business performance of end users.

Requirements:

  • A research oriented Masters degree in any relevant Social Science discipline; possession of a Ph. D will be an advantage
  • A minimum of 7 years’ proven research and consultancy experience from a reputable organization, with a minimum of 3 years managing a successful research team
  • Excellent skills in project management, interpersonal relations, communication (both written and verbal) and IT literacy are critical to success in the role
  • Membership of a Professional Institute

Position: Manager – Corporate Affairs: Ref: LPI/111/MCA

Reporting to the Registrar/CEO, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the Institute’s corporate image and ensure the Institute is positively represented to all its various publics. In this capacity, you will also formulate effective strategies aimed at engaging relevant policymakers, regulators and community leaders in support of the Institute’s strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A first degree in the Arts, Social Sciences or related discipline; possession of an MBA will be an advantage
  • Over 5 years’ experience in a corporate communications role, with a minimum of 3 years heading the corporate affairs or public relations unit in a comparable organization
  • Excellent skills in public relations and corporate communications (both verbal and written); strong interpersonal skills; working knowledge of traditional and new social media channels, and an ability to design brand visibility documents such as Newsletters, Brochures, E-Journals etc
  • Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR)

Position: Manager – Procurement:

Ref: LPI/111/MP

Reporting to the Registrar/CEO, your main responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of the Institute’s procurement operations in order to obtain the best possible business results. In this capacity, you will apply procurement best practices to sourcing and supply activities; establish and improve partnerships with key suppliers and ensure all procurement transactions comply with the Institute’s rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A first degree in the Arts, Social Sciences or a relevant field; possession of an MBA will be an advantage
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or contract management in a reputable organization with full responsibility for all procurement activities
  • Excellent budgeting and negotiating skills, coupled with familiarity in the development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and general bidding process are key success factors in the role.
  • A strong work ethic and high level of personal Integrity are essential Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN)
