Position: Teachers
Location: (Jos, Abuja, Lagos)
Vacancies exist in these areas (physical & health, French, computer, fine art or creative art music, special education, educator (kindergarten)
The Successful candidates for Teaching Positions Must
- Possess excellent speaking, reading and writing skill;
- Be a team player and be willing to learn;
- Have knowledge of modern teaching techniques and aids;
- Good knowledge of computer will be additional advantage;
- Adequate knowledge of learning disabilities and coping strategies
- Familiar with child safety and child protection policy
- Knowledge of local language relevant to area of choice
Ideal Candidate Profile for Teachers Education-Kindergarten
- Minimum of NCE in early childhood Education
- Adequate knowledge and use of Montessori and Froebel methods and materials
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification and on the job experience
Ideal Candidate Profile for Teachers-Primary School
- Minimum of NCE
- Sound knowledge of primary 1 -6 core subjects
- Adequate use of diverse current teaching techniques and materials
- Minimum of 3 years post qualification and on the job experience
For subject teachers (French, computer, music, Physical/Health, Home Economics, Arts& Crafts and Special Education and adult education specialist) -sound knowledge of subject areas and professional ethics with current teaching/learning techniques.
Position: Secretary /Cashier
Locations: (Jos, Abuja)
- The candidate must possess a minimum of ND in Accountancy, Secretariat Administration/NCE in Business Education with skills in office administration and petty cash management with at least 3 years working experience. He/She must possess good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. He/she must be computer literate
Professional Profile
- Minimum of National Diploma (ND) in Accountancy or
- Secretarial Administration with skills in office administration
- Minimum of 2 years cognate experience as secretary or cashier
Requirements
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
- Reasonable typing skills
- Good knowledge of use of excel and other accounting Packages.
Position: Handyman
Location: (Isolo, Lagos)
Professional Profile:
- The ideal candidate must possess a minimum qualification of a senior secondary school certificate or equivalent of a trade test certificate. Possession of an OND in Electrical, Plumbing or carpentry will be an added advantage
Requirements:
- Maintain the functionality of equipment and buildings
- Ensure proper running of the equipment in the village/SOS premises
- Prompt repairs of faulty equipment
- Ability to keep records of equipment
- Ability to write report
- Supervision of major repair work by external contractor in the village
