Our client, a key player in the manufacturing sector of our economy, with her plant in Nnewi, Anambra State currently undergoing planned growth and expansion requires the services of an experienced Marketer who will head the marketing function to manage the envisaged growth.
Position: Head of Marketing
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and implementing marketing strategies, including advertising and PR.
- Developing annual marketing plan in conjunction with sales team, which will focus on meeting organizational objectives,
- Managing the Marketing Budget and delivering all marketing activity within agreed budget.
- Planning and implementing sales and customer retention and development
- Managing, training and motivating direct reporting staff according to company procedures and policy.
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical marketing activities.
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
- Developing and implementing company-wide go-to-market plan by contributing to formulation of appropriate policy and strategies.
The candidate of choice must have at least 5 years of marketing experience in the manufacturing sub-sector with extensive experience in all aspects of developing and-maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
