Vacancies: Sub-Contract Coordinator, Clinical Officer
We are a Leading and Reputable Non – Governmental Organization implementing a comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria- national, state, local and site levels. In line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals to fill the positions below
Position: Sub-Contract Coordinator
Location: Abuja
- The Sub-Contract Coordinator coordinates the identification and conduct of pre-award assessment of potential sub recipients, at the central office level in collaboration with the Director of Finance and Subcontracts Finance Manager. H/she will provide support to the Sub-contract Supervisors on training of sub recipients on all applicable USG laws and regulations, funding agencies rules and regulations, terms and conditions of the subcontract; ensure consistent application of organizational financial and administrative policies/standards,, as well as USG rules and regulations; develop systems and tools for sub recipients financial management; review all sub recipients reports and advance requests, facilitate sub recipients payments, and monitor their advances from source; The position will conduct financial monitoring including site visits and review of financial reports and their supporting documents; review audit reports filed by sub recipients and corrective action taken by sub recipients in response to audit findings.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or in related field
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience or a Master’s degree with at least three years of relevant work experience.
- General ledger experience required
- Experience with USG financial rules and regulations desirable.
- Knowledge of USG/other donor rules, regulations, and procedures concerning subcontracts
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong computer spreadsheet and word processing skills.

Position: Clinical Officer (PMTCT)
Location: Benue
- The Clinical Officer will provide technical support for multidisciplinary HIV/AIDS care and treatment, working with health facility- based site teams to provide PMTCT services to pregnant and post partum HIV positive women and their babies.
- Responsibilities include: planning, implementing and monitoring PMTCT activities at sites in designated states
- overseeing the PMTCT clinics at sites in designated states by providing on- going monitoring and hands- on supervision.
- Provide Technical assistance to ensure quality service delivery to patients as part of site multidisciplinary team function.
- Building site personnel capacity through training
- Developing/strengthening plans for enrolling more pregnant HIV+ women in the communities into PMTCT clinics
- Supervising data collection for monitoring and evaluation use
- Integrating HIV/AIDS care and treatment into other Maternal and Child Health activities.
Qualification:
- Advanced degree in Nursing/Midwifery, Medicine, or Public health
- Robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and treatment
- Experience in providing PMTCT services and or comprehensive Reproductive Health services (3years + preferable)
- Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in HIV/AIDS and PMTCT
- Experience in training and facilitation
- Excellent interpersonal skills Fluency in written and spoken English
