Position: Quantity Surveyors:
Reference; QS 03
Qualifications:
- First Degree from accredited Institution of Higher Learning/University – B.Sc, HND in Quantity Surveying
- Minimum of six(6) years demonstrable practical experience on quantity surveying practice with experience on road works measurements and evaluation, Bridges and general civil works installations.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel. Words, Corel draw, Power Point,
- Professional Membership and Registration with N.I.Q.S compulsory.
Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for the quantity measurements and calculations, evaluation of permanent works completed, raising of certificates for works done, documentation of variation works and assisting the site Engineer in the contract administration of the project resources to ensure effective and timely delivery of project work in accordance with specification and quality in a cost effective and timely manner. Must be a strong adherent to Safety, Health and Environmental issues, Candidate should be mature and businesslike with excellent supervisory skills and attention to details.
Position: Land Surveyor:
Reference: IS 04
Qualifications:
- First Degree from accredited Institution of Higher Learning/University -B.Sc, HND. in Photogrammetry and Land Surveying
- Minimum of six (6) years demonstrable practical experience photogrammetry and land surveying practice with particular bias for road works construction, Bridges, general civil works installations.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, words, Autodesk Land development etc.
- Professional Membership and Registration an added advantage
Responsibilities
- This person will be responsible for the site setting out and general surveying activity associate road, bridge and general site construction works. He should be conversant with modem survey equipment and high accuracy works and effective reporting of same. He is expected to give adequate support on site to the Site Engineer to ensure effective and timely delivery of project work in accordance with specification and quality in a cost effective and timely manner.
- Must be a strong adherent to Safety, Health and Environmental issues.
- Candidate should be mature, astute and businesslike with excellent supervisory skills and attention to details.
