As part of our expansion and development programmes, our company, a multinational and leading player in agro-allied manufacturing industry (situated in the Eastern part of Nigeria) is looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the positions below.

Position:  General Manager (Operations) (GM001)

The person shall be a person of considerable experience in technical and operational matters. He is expected to have a good interpersonal as well as sound communication skill,

Responsibilities:

1. To oversee and be in charge of General Operations of the mill, other operational units including the Quality Control and maintenance Department, This therefore means that the Heads of the Department shall be answerable to you on all operational matters.
2. To ensure that the company machines and equipments are properly maintained for efficient and effective operations of the company
3. To ensure that all safety standards prescribed by the international standard organization and regulatory authorities are adhered to strictly.
4. To ensure that the quality of the products are of high standard and to give appropriate advice regularly on how to maintain high quality.
5. To abide by the policies, procedures and regulations of the company for good corporate governance.
6. To deploy and supervise all workers under operations as to ensure effective use of their ability,
7. You are required to work in harmony with all staff both management and others as a team for smooth operations of the company,
8. You shall submit all your operation report to the management and make recommendations in writing. This report shall be at least monthly,
9. You shall be a member of Senior Management Committee (SMC) of the company and shall make your contributions for the good governance of the company.

Qualification:

• He is expected to have at least a Bsc or HND in Engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering,
• He shall posses a minimum of 15years relevant experience in manufacturing or similar industry processing industry.

Position: Head of Maintenance (Mechanical) (HM001

Responsibilities

1. Ensure plants and vehicles are maintained in the most time efficient manner and routine maintenance planned and schedule to maximize downtime
2. Monitors the use of spare parts, maintenance supplies and initiates reordering when necessary.
3. Established and manages an effective maintenance program for all equipment, tools and vehicles of the Company.
4. Advises the Management on maintenance and technical issues.
5. Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped and motivated so that maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
6. Maintains and updates operating and training manual for the maintenance department.
7. Review the operation of the plants and machineries constantly in order to minimize unplanned downtime.
8. Maintains safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
9. Performs other legal duties as may be required by the General Manager (Operations)

Qualification:

• He must have a Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• He shall possess a minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
