A Property Development Company based in Abuja is looking for suitable qualified candidates for immediate employment
Position: Estate Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising general maintenance issues at designated sites
- Responsible for the upkeep of all properties to a high standard whist carrying out basic building and maintenance work where required
- Responsible for supervising security guards at the premises
- Responsible for stocking up consumable items such as fuel, diesel, light bulbs and arrange to replenish supplies in accordance with current procedures of the company.
- To report emergencies as well as minor faults with electrical and water supply to the site supervisor
- To attend to where necessary, personnel visiting the site such as contractors buyers.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- A Higher National Diploma or Ordinary National Diploma from a reputable Institution; Previous experience in Estate Management will be an advantage
Skills
- Oral, written and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must be competent in the use of Microsoft office applications
Personal Qualities
- Proven record of a high level of attendance at work
- Ability to work effectively without supervision
- Sound customer service skills
- Calm and patient under pressure
- Ability to show initiative and work proactively to ensure the smooth running of the site
