Our client is a Reputable and Leading Nigerian Engineering Construction Company involved in roads, bridges and Infrastructural Development, installation of public electric and water systems as well as building of commercial and residential structures. We are based in Abuja Nigeria but has projects in several States of the Federation.

 

To execute a newly awarded Federal project on engineering infrastructural development in Abuja, we are looking for suitably qualified, highly motivated and result oriented professionals to take up the below leadership positions:

Position: Project Quantity Surveyor (1)

Class of Position: Quantity Surveyor

Job Requirement:

  • The incumbent will manage all costs relating to building projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. S/he will seek to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
  • S/he will prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities while identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant good university degree (B. Sc, HND, etc.) in Quantity Surveying, at least 4 years relevant experience in project management with useful experience in budgeting, time schedule, costing and tendering. You must be proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Current membership of the relevant national supervising bodies is required

 

 

Position: Project Land Surveyor (1)

REF: EFMC/MG/009

Class of Position: Quantity Surveyor

 

Job Requirement:

  • The incumbent will lead the team in standard survey methods for survey computations, setting out, and survey drawings and specifications, survey record keeping, and interpretation of survey data, analysis and information presentation. He will work in any of the following projects: roads, bridges, drainages, buildings (low & high rise buildings), etc. Practical hands-on knowledge and adjustments of survey instruments is required.

 

Qualifications:

  • Relevant good university degree (B. Sc, HND) in Land Surveying and at least 4 years relevant experience in the field preferably within a civil construction company.
  • Must be computer literate, have AutoCAD and 3D design experience in building construction, be experienced in interpreting data using maps, charts and plans and should be involved in the managing and monitoring of civil construction projects from start to finish.
  • Current membership of the relevant national supervising bodies is required

Remuneration Package: This is negotiable and depends on previous experiences, projects executed and completed, and past remunerations.
