Vacancies: Head- Water and Sanitation, Enterprise Systems Administrator
One of the strategic Agencies of the Rivers State Government helping to complement the current administration’s efforts in accelerating development in the State, would like to strengthen its project delivery capability by recruiting seasoned administrators and other professionals and has mandated SAMUELSON to identify proactive, well trained, result-oriented and IT proficient Rivers State indigenes to fill the positions below in the Organization.

Position: Head, Water and Sanitation
Job Profile
Liaise with the relevant State Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Communities and other Stake Holders in order to develop a Water and Sanitation Plan that promotes good health, water and sanitation practices. Oversee management and Implementation of water and sanitation projects. Co-ordinate partner activities in water and environmental sanitation
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent in Public Health, Civil Engineering (Water and Sanitation) Social Development or related field. Possession of a Post Graduate degree in Development Management / Economics will be an advantage
Work Experience/Attributes Expected
- Minimum of 7 years work experience 3 of which should be in Water. Supply and Environmental Sanitation
Position: Enterprise Systems Administrator
Job Profile
- Installation, Management and Maintenance of the ICT cabling / transportation network and architecture, including aesthetics
- Ensure, develop and Implement IT security and data centre strategies, policies and procedures, as regards the overall network and ICT infrastructure
Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in Electrical Electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences and Engineering or any related discipline. Must be a certified CISCO Network Systems Engineer.
- A Profession, Certification in MCSA/MCITP, A+, Network, Computer Systems and Network Security and Administrate
Work Experience/ Attributes Expected
- Minimum of 5 years ICT experience, with at least 3 in network management.
Selected candidates may be asked to perform other duties, as required and will report to a Head of Unit, Manage or General Manager, as applicable
