Senior Program Officer-Diarrhea Management (Abuja) at Micronutrient Initiative, (MI)

MI is now looking to recruit the below professional, for its Nigeria Office, located in Abuja.

Position:     Senior Program Officer-Diarrhea Management (2011-AFR-NIG-04)

Gross Annual Salary: 5,116,253 to 6,921,990 NGN

 

In line with MI’s strategic objectives in Africa, and in collaboration with stakeholders, the candidate will contribute to both the reduction of child mortality and morbidity in Nigeria by supporting the Ministry of Health in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of effective and sustainable diarrhea treatment services incorporating the use of zinc and low osmolarity oral rehydration salts.

 

You have: a Master’s degree in public health, child health, health sciences or related. You have at least 10 years experience in managing public health, clinical practice, and child health programs or related. You must have experience in IMCI or diarrhea management in Nigeria. You must have experience in program/project monitoring and reporting; preferably, you have a track record working with program aiming at improving coverage, utilization and health seeking behaviours.
