Position: Assistant Director- Human Resources
Academic
- Candidate must possess a university degree (B.sc) in any of the Social Sciences or Humanities, preferably in Public/Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management, in addition to a good first degree which is not lower than second class lower division in a relevant discipline
- A post-graduate degree will be an added advantage
- Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience. Preference will be given to candidates with previous management in human capital development
- Have proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application
- Professional Membership of CIPMN or other related professional associations is a must.
Role Requirements (Technical)
- Candidate must be able to provide a pragmatic support system for managing the careers of technical/professional and clerical stall within the organisation
- Develop and implement relevant HR policies and procedures, interprets and administers HR -related provisions of collective bargaining agreement
- S/he must be demonstrate knowledge and competencies to drive the HR function and value chain in collaboration with other team members
Behavioural
- The candidate must develop a culture of participation and involvement, including maintaining confidence in the face of unpopular situations.
- People who are best suited for this must be result oriented and skilled in conflict resolution.
- The ideal person for this position will be bell-confident, friendly, self starting, imaginative, factual, consistent, self-disciplined and active
- An added advantage is positive attitude and social disposition, while multi-tasking ability is highly required.
