Vacancies: Senior Pharmacy Specialist, Pharmacy Specialist

Under the auspices of the SIDHAS project whose objective is to reduce the burden of HIV/AIDS in targeted areas of Nigeria through strengthened delivery of high quality comprehensive HIV/AIDS services that are sustainable for long-term; MU-PACE leads the project efforts to promote pharmacy best practices by providing technical leadership in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity to provide quality HIV/AIDS, STI, and TB pharmacy services both at the health facility and community levels. We are hereby seeking qualified candidates registered with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) to fill the under listed positions.

 

Position: Senior Pharmacy Specialist

  • The Senior Pharmacy Specialist will provide technical support in strengthening pharmacy systems and pharmacists’ capacity on pharmacy best practices and quality pharmaceutical care in the area of PMTCT, ART, TB care and reproductive health in the Stales Ministries of Health (SMOH). S/he will report to the Associate Directors and Zonal Manager.

 

Minimum Requirement Standards:

  • B.Pharrn and 3-6 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs; or B.Pharm plus M.Sc/MPH in public health or related field, and 2-5 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs; or Ph.D in Clinical Pharmacy, or similar degree with 1-2 years relevant experience inĀ  HIV/AIDS with international development programs.

 

 

 

Position: Pharmacy Specialist

  • The Pharmacy Specialist will provide technical and programmatic support to the implement the integration of quality care and support activities with primary focus on pharmaceutical care in HIV/AIDS, Anti-retroviral therapy (ART) treatment Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, and TB, S/he will support capacity building to the pharmacy staff to implement quality services in these areas. S/he will report to the Senior Pharmacy Specialist and the Zonal Manager in the zonal office.

 

Minimum Requirement Standards:

  • B.Pharm and 2 – 4 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs; or B.Pharm plus MS/MA in public health or related field, and 1 – 2 years relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international development programs.
