Position: Method Process Controlling

 

What are my responsibilities?

  • Establishing methods, processes and tools as the basis for a world class purchasing organisation, with optimized process costs, managed risks and opportunities, reduced materials costs and ensured capacity and availability,
  • Establishing, leading and driving regional governance procurement methods Processes and Controlling
  • Policies and principles, provision of templates and guidelines and common compliance strategy and implementation.
  • Establishing, leading and analyzing derivation of measures (analysis of weaknesses testing/ implementation of specified purchasing potentials, competence structures) to create transparency and improve processes in purchasing activities.
  • Establishing, leading and promoting use of methods, processes and controlling
  • throughout the region.
  • Key user of procurement tools and contact in Nigeria for Cluster Africa requirements.
  • Establishing, leading and coordinating expert communities (Benchmarking and most efficient solution exchange) and representing the Regional Management’s interests.
  • Performance measurement to establish transparency for controlling, reporting and derivation of procurement strategies together with the Supply Chain Management community.
  • Conducting procurement and logistics/Supply Chain Management benchmarking to initiate continuous improvement programmes.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of cost centres and creation of monthly reports including cost allocation monitoring.
  • Provision of management information reports
  • Ensuring compliance toward e.g; purchase to pay (p2p), Code of Conduct implementation of circulars process.

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • A first degree in Commerce, Business Administration or its equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 years demonstrable experience In procurement and logistics/ Supply Chain Management preferably at multinational companies
  • Experience in initiating, driving and managing complex/ international/ cross-functional projects
  • Experience in international business environment and high degree of intercultural sensitivity
  • Must possess entrepreneurial spirit and strategic judgment.
  • Must be dynamic with pleasant team-work personality
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office packages and SAP
  • Professional certification in procurement/MBA is an added advantage

 

Position: Commercial Officer- Controlling (Lagos)

 

What are my responsibilities?

  • Planning, controlling, reporting on business level (fully)
  • Responsible to perform all types of financial analysis, review and forecasts (fully)
  • Month/quarter/year end closings for overall business (fully)
  • Financial reports (profit/loss statement of financial position, cash flow) (fully)
  • Monitoring and controlling of centre (fully)
  • Information management, support and advice for management, ongoing analysis of business figures to recommend adequate action and provide information (fully)
  • Budget planning and controlling
  • Investment planning, Business Target Agreement
  • People management: Within functional area select, deploy and develop employees under relevant company policies, aligns all members toward team excellence in order to ensure long-term company success with motivated high caliber employees.

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting, finance & Controlling
  • Exposure to business administration will be an added advantage
  • A first degree in Accounting
  • A Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA OR ACCA)
