Position: Lecturer I
(Department of Surgery)
Salary Scale: CONUASS 4 (N 1,122,751 X N 40,223 – N 1,444,535)
Area of Specialization
Neurological Surgery
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess medical qualification registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) or its equivalent in Neurological Surgery.
- · Evidence of Exposure to modern Neurological Surgery systems and methods, experience in Undergraduate and Post-graduate teaching, evidence of interest in research and scientific activities, experience in leadership, management or administration roles and activities will be of great advantage.
- · Successful candidates with adequate clinical experience may be appointed Consultants to the University College Hospital, Ibadan.
Position: Lecturer II
(Department of Surgery)
Salary Scale: CONUASS3(N 897,501X N 25,259- N 1,074,314)
Area of Specialization
Neurological Surgery
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants should possess medical qualification registrable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), PART 1 of the Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) or its equivalent, satisfactory Senior Residency records in Neurological Surgery for at least two years.
- · Evidence of involvement in research and scientific activities as well as satisfactory records of operative and other academic activities will be of great advantage.
Conditions of Service
The appointments, which are to commence as soon as possible, are for three years initially. They may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age. Fringe benefits include a pension Scheme or comparable arrangement as may be approved from to time by the University Council residential accommodation or housing allowance at an approved rate and passages for approved Overseas Study
Leave.
