Position: Assistant Lecturer
(Department of Adult Education)

Area of Specialization
Philosophy of Adult Education
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants must possess B.A. degree in Philosophy, M.Ed in Adult Education with an approval of the Ph.D Registration Title in Philosophy of Adult Education. Evidence of teaching experience in a recognized University for least three (3) years is of paramount advantage.
- · Applicants for this position should have at one time or the other served as Research Assistant in the Department of Adult Education of the University of Ibadan.
Position: Lecturer II
(Department of Adult Education)

Area of Specialization
Community Development/Psychology of Adult Education
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants must possess B.Ed Degree in Education, M.Ed in Guidance and Counselling (Psychological Foundation) and Ph.D in Community Development.
- · Proof of scholarly publications in reputable journals will be an added advantage while evidence of teaching experience in a recognized University is of paramount advantage.
- · Applicants for this position must have their Ph.D thesis written on the evaluation of community development programmes of oil companies in Nigeria.
Position: Lecturer I
(Department of Library, Archival and Information Studies)
Salary Scale: CONUASS 4 (N 1,122,751 X N 40,223 – N 1,444,535)
Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants must possess Master and Ph.D degrees in Library Science, Archives and Records Management or Information Science from a recognized university. In addition, candidates should have previous teaching and/or research experiences at the University level.
- · Adequate publications in reputable academic journals in the area of specialization are required.
- · Applicants who can teach Information Technology courses will be given preference.

- · Applicants for the post of Lecturer I must show evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals within and outside Nigeria and have at least three (3) years teaching experience at the University level.

Qualification and Experience:
- · Applicants must possess Ph.D in the field of Mental Retardation.
- · Applicants for the post of Lecturer I must show evidence of Scholarly publications in reputable journals within and outside Nigeria with at least three (3) years experience at the University level.
Conditions of Service
The appointments, which are to commence as soon as possible, are for three years initially. They may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age. Fringe benefits include a pension Scheme or comparable arrangement as may be approved from to time by the University Council residential accommodation or housing allowance at an approved rate and passages for approved Overseas Study
Leave.
