Vacancies: Physiotherapist, Nurse Counsellor
Employer: Medicines Sans Frontires France (MSFF) is a medical humanitarian non-governmental organization (NGO), neutral and independent that offers free assistance to population in needs which has been in Nigeria since 1996 and which has been running a trauma center in Teme Hospital, Port Harcourt since 2005. Vacant positions:
Position: Physiotherapist
1 long term 1 casual position to fill gaps when the need arises
Requirements:
- A BMR in Physiotherapy is compulsory.
- Minimum of 2 years experience post Graduation as a Physiotherapist.
Main responsibilities for Physiotherapist will include:
- To administer physiotherapy treatment in MSF Teme Hospital trauma center, both in the OPD and IPD.
Position: Nurse Counsellor
1 long term and 1 casual position to fill gaps when the need arises
Requirements:
- A valid registered nursing license is a must.
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse with counseling experience OR
- A registered Nurse with proven 2 years counselling experience
- WS/ HIV experience is an added value
Main responsibilities include:
Provide counseling treatment and support to the Victims of Sexual Violence and provide medical care to patients in MSF- F’s Trauma program in Teme Hospital-Port Harcourt, following the MSF protocols and nursing standards.
The positions will require:
- Strong motivation, commitment, professional conduct with a sense of responsibility
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
