Academic Staff Vacancies:
(COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCES)
Position: Professor
Candidates are required in the following Departments:
- Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
- Internal Medicine
- Medical Biochemistry
- Ophthalmology
- Nursing Science
General Requirements/Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a Doctorate degree in the relevant field
- Have sound knowledge in teaching and research experience in a university of not less than 12 (twelve) years.
- Applicants must in addition demonstrate ability to initiate, develop and sustain research projects and bask experience in working with groups, and provide academic leadership.
- Candidates for any of the positions in College of Health Sciences must possess a good MBBS degree from a recognized university and fellowship of the national Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians and Surgeons or their equivalent Sound academic qualifications (MSc/MD) for teaching in a university or similar institution will be added advantage.
Salary: CONUASS 7, N2,485, 099.00-N3,140.00P/A)
Position: Senior Lecturer
Candidates are required in the following Departments:
- Orthopaedic Surgery
- Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
- Internal Medicine
- Anatomical Sciences
- Human Physiology
- Medical Biochemistry
- Pathology
- Paediatrics
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- Ophthalmology
- Nursing Science
General Requirements/Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a Doctorate degree in the relevant field
- Have sound knowledge in teaching and research experience in a university of not less than 6 (six) years.
- Applicants must have substantial scholarly publications in reputable academic journals, and registration with relevant professional bodies where necessary e.g. (QHEN, Teachers’ Registration Council etc.
- Candidates for any of the positions in College of Health Sciences must possess a good MBBS degree from a recognized university and fellowship of the national Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians and Surgeons or their equivalent Sound academic qualifications (MSc/MD) for teaching in a university or similar institution will be added advantage.

Position: Lecture I
Candidates are required in the following Departments:

- Nursing Science
General Requirements/Qualifications:
- Applicants must possess a minimum of Master’s degree (not MBA, MPA, MPhil) in the relevant field and three (3) years teaching experience in a university or similar institution.
- However, candidates without Doctorate degree require six (6) yean teaching and research experience.
Salary: CONUASS 4, N1,122, 751.00-N1,444,536.00P/A)

- All candidates must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion
- Salaries and allowances attached to the various ranks listed above are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria,
