Vacancies: Chief Information Officer, Principal Information Officer/Public Relation Officer
The Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State is one of the nine newly established Federal Universities in Nigeria. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions below in the University for non teaching staff.
Public Relations
Position: Chief Information Officer (CONTISS 13)
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a good honours degree from a recognized University in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or public administration or any other relevant degree in the Humanities or Social Sciences with at least twelve (12) years cognate experience plus evidence of membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); or
- Masters degree (M.sc) in a relevant field with at least 6 years cognate experience plus membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Experience managing marketing /public relations unit preferred.
Position: Principal Information Officer/Public Relation Officer (CONTISS 11)
Qualification
Candidates should possess a good honours degree from a recognized University in Mass Communication, Public Relations or any other relevant degree in the Humanities or Social sciences with at least nine (9) years cognate experience plus evidence of membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR); or Masters degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years cognate experience plus membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

- All Candidates must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Certificate of Exclusion where applicable;
- Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria:
