Our Clients, a Marketing and sales Multinational Company is requesting application from suitable qualified candidates for the position of:
position: Principal Security and Safety Officer
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and ensure the follow-up of the analyses of security and safety risk (gap analysis).
- Prepare the implementation plans intended to comply with theĀ security/safety standard requirements and control their implementation.
- Establish the rules, procedures, and instructions applicable to the- site in the domain of security, and safety and do periodic reviews to assure their application.
- Ensure compliance of all the equipment with safety and health requirements, and organize maintenance of all detection and protection equipment and periodically test their operation.
- Carry out equipment safety and ergonomics analyses, take part in the development of progress plans, and verify their implementation.
- Ensure the implementation of safety and health measures for all engineering works done as well as prevention and containment of security risk.
- Analyze all site projects to check or include security/safety requirements.
- Contribute to the completion of security/safety awareness and training programs to employees and managers.
- Analyze incidents and accidents and update safety indicators, determine trends and appropriate corrective actions.
- Alert the security director and management of all serious nonconformities or all persistent risks, and propose essential corrective actions.
- Routinely analyze every security event that has occurred on the site, and implement action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
Person Specification:
- The job holder will have a minimum of HND from a recognized higher institution.
- He must have a cognate experience of not less than six (6) years as a security supervisor or principal security officer.
- He must have an excellent control of English language and should possess good interpersonal skills.
- He should be versed in the use of Microsoft computer packages.
- He must be bright, a learn player, with proven integrity and not more than 40 years old,
- He should exercise remarkable degree of independence, proposing solution and solving problems.
- Also he should be proactive, anticipate and resolve events before they happen, and be able to frequently move around the bits and residences
- The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Director.
