Applications are, hereby, invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the non-teaching vacancies in the following Department /units at the University of  Lafia, Nasarawa State.

 

Central Stores

Position:     Principal Stores Officer I

 

Salary Scale: (CONUSSS 11)

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess HND/B.Sc; Degree and minimum of nine (9) years cognate experience and be registered with the Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
  • In addition, candidates should have sound knowledge in purchasing and supply and Stores Management, records management, marketing and insurance, auditing and stock record management and good leadership skills.

 

Position:     Principal Stores Officer II

Salary Scale: (CONUSSS 9)

 

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess HND/B.Sc Degree plus minimum of six (6) years cognate experience.
  • Candidates should also possess leadership qualities in management and record keeping.

 

Note:

i.        All candidates must possess one of the following as applicable:

(a) NYSC Discharge Certificate

(b) NYSC Exemption Certificate

(c) NYSC Certificate of Exclusion

 

ii.       Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scale for Federal Universities in Nigeria;

 

iii.      Candidates who are awaiting results need not apply. Computer literacy is required for ail advertised positions.

x.       Academic qualifications obtained with dates

xi.      Professional qualification obtained with dates;

xii.     Working experience including full details of former and present post(s);

xiii.    Full details of teaching and research experience and service to the nation and immediate community where applicable;

xiv.   List of publications where applicable;

xv.     Honors/Distinctions;

xvi.   Extra Curricular Activities;

xvii.   Position applied for;

xviii. Names and addresses of three referees.

 

Candidates’ submissions should be forwarded in an envelope which should have the position applied for clearly indicated on its left-hand corner.
