DEPT. OF GEOGRAPHY AND REGIONAL PLANNING
Position: Lecturer I
Area of Specialization
Medical and Rural Geography, Transport Geography, Biogeography and Soils/Population and Settlement and Geography/Urban Economic Geography
Salary Scale– UASS 4 (N1,122,751.00- N1,444, 535.000
Qualifications
- The candidate must have a Ph.D degree in relevant field with at least three (3) good publications at reputable international and national journals
- Ability to initiate and supervise research programmes at the undergraduate level
Position: Lecturer II
Area of Specialization
Cultural and Tourism Geography Quantity and Theoretical Geography
Salary Scale: UASS 3 (N897,501.00 – N1,074,314.00
Qualifications
- The candidates must have at least a Master’s degree in relevant level with a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience
- Should have at least two (2) good publications in reputable journals
Position: Assistant Lecturer
Area of Specialization: Biogeography and Soils/Climatology
Salary Scale: UASS 2 (N794,260.00 – N957,402.00)
Qualification
The candidate must have a Master’s degree in relevant field
DEPT. OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
Position: Lecturer I
Area of Specialization: Comparative Politics
Salary Scale– UASS 4 (N1,122,751.00- N1,444, 535.000
Qualifications
- The candidate must have a Ph.D degree in relevant field with at least three (3) good publications at reputable international and national journals

Position: Assistant Lecturer
Area of Specialization: Public Administration
Salary Scale: UASS 2 (N794,260.00 – N957,402.00)
Qualification
The candidate must have a Master’s degree in relevant field
