OTSD is an office recently developed in partnership with one of the leading development partners in the country with the aim of re-shaping how government functions, re-engineering its processes and systems in order to ensure implementation of government’s developmental programmes in a more effective and efficient manner.
OTSD focuses on quick-win actions that ensure the delivery of the agenda of the administration, and longer term visioning and strategic thinking of various development alternatives that guarantee sustainable and accelerated improvement in the lives of the people. The Office has four key areas of focus: innovation, change management, service delivery, and tracking implementation of government’s agenda across the MDAs. OTSD is based in the South-western region of the country.
OTSD seeks to employ the right candidates to fill in the following vacant position for a 2-year renewable contract:
Position: Communications / Knowledge Management Officer
Person Specification
- Masters level education in communications
- Over 7 years experience in relevant discipline
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop communication instruments for diverse audiences
- Collect, store and disseminate information and experience on matters pertaining to the Governments Agenda
- Monitor the relevance of the content of the OTSD’s website and make recommendations when necessary
- Production and publication of internal and external OTSD communication materials
