Vacancies: Principal Technical Officer II, Senior Technical Officer
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the non -teaching vacancies in the following Departments/ units of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.
Position: Principal Technical Officer II (CONTISS 09)
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess FTC, HND, HNC or B.Sc. in the relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution plus six (6) years cognate experience or M.Sc with three (3) years experience or PGD in relevant field with five (5) year cognate experience.
Position: Senior Technical Officer (CONTISS 08)
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess FTC, HND, HNC or B.Sc. in the relevant field from a recognized tertiary institution plus three (3) years cognate experience or M.Sc in relevant field
Position: Chief Boat Driver (CONTISS 06)
Qualification
Candidates should have minimum of JSSC or its equivalent and driver Mechanic Trade Test I with 9 years experience.
Notes
i) All candidates must possess either NYSC Discharge certificate or exemption certificate or certificate of exclusion where applicable
ii) Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved salary scheme for Federal Universities in Nigeria
iii) Candidates who are awaiting results may not be considered and need not apply
iv) Computer literacy is required for all cadres listed above

xvi) Names, addresses, GSM numbers and e-mail addresses of three referees who shall include his/her current boss or Head of Department, one who must attest to his character and another who will speak on his professional/ academic competence.
