Vacancies: Project Management Officer, CEO’s Personal Assistant

Our client is a Financial Sector Development Organization that promotes financial inclusion in Nigeria. The Organization was established in 2007, with a vision to be the leader in facilitating the emergence of an all-inclusive and growth-promoting financial system.

 

As part of efforts to expand its operations, the Organization has identified a need to recruit suitably qualified and competent candidates to fill the following positions, which will be based in Lagos:

 

Position:     Project Management Officer (ES029)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist in ensuring that the Organization’s operations run smoothly and efficiently. Specifically, the candidate will:

  • Assist the Operations Manager to develop and implement an efficient project monitoring and reporting system for all projects.
  • Effectively manage all ongoing project and ensure compliance with overall objectives and deadlines.
  • Prepare monthly status reports for all ongoing projects.
  • Collate quarterly work plans for all staff for the Operations Manager’s review.
  • Ensure that all office equipment are regularly serviced.
  • Handle all travel logistics for foreign guests.
  • Develop an effective document management system that supports sharing of information easily across all departments.
  • Maintain an inventory schedule of all office supplies, regularly check stocks to determine inventory levels, and prepare purchase orders for approval by the Operations Manager.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

  • A good first degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience in Administration, Operations and/or Project Management, Prior experience in the financial sector will be an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of project management tools and concepts.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.

 

 

Position:     CEO’s Personal Assistant (ES030)

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will provide administrative and logistical support to the CEO. Specifically, the candidate will:

  • Provide calendar management for the CEO.
  • Develop and maintain the CEO’s contact database.
  • Arrange all domestic and international travels for the CEO.
  • Engage potential stakeholders on behalf of the CEO to establish contact and request meetings.
  • Plan and manage logistics for departmental meetings.
  • Prepare expense reimbursements claims for the CEO.
  • Attend meetings and conferences as requested, and prepare the minutes.

 

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes:

  • A good first degree in English, Marketing or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience as a personal assistant in a corporate organization.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
