Vacancies: Senior Supervisor Maintenance, Supervisors Mechanics
Applications are required from result oriented candidates to fill in the following existing vacancies in one of the largest automobile Company in Nigeria, based in Kano.
Position: Senior supervisor Maintenance (1)
Duties:
- General Maintenance and Repair of Buildings, Facilities, Equipments, and Grounds in the Factor/ and Staff Village
- Electrical: Performs basic electrical installation repair work in wiring for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances; repairs lighting systems and inspects electrical systems in the factory and and staff village for unsafe conditions.
- Plumbing: Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines and drains; replaces washers and other minor parts; maintains and monitors septic system:
- Generators: Maintenance, installation, service and repair to a varied range of diesel driven generating sets, diesel generator control systems and associated equipment including Turbochargers and fuel injection equipment in the factory and staff village.
Education and Experience
- Applicants must possess HND or B.Sc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 7 years cognate working experience.
- Any combination or education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties as described.
- Skills and abilities effectively use a variety of hand and power tools; read blueprints; review and identify projects.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written; maintain work logs; established and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with superiors and subordinates.
Position: Supervisors Mechanics (2)
Duties
- Responsible for operations, coordination and quality control of general maintenance of vehicles in the after sales
- Maintain records prepare reports and composes correspondences on related to work areas to the General Manager production and after sales.
- Evaluate and verify after sales employee’s performance through routine supervision and review based on completed work assigned
- Oversee the overhauling and rebuilding of vehicles in the after sales
- Prepare all requisitions of Motor Vehicles equipments, tools, parts, materials and supplies used in the vehicles maintenance to the head office.
- Be able to diagnose difficult vehicles problems brought by a customer and recommend for repairs
- Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Perform any other as assigned
- Observes and ensure all proper safety precautions while discharging the duties.
Education and Experience
- Candidates must have HND or B.Sc, Auto Mechanic Engineering with and at least 5 years cognate working experience.
- The combination of education, training and experience must demonstrates abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities as described including proficiency in use of computers and good internet skills.
