Vacancies: Officer II, Officer I, Assistant Manager
The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, seeks to engage suitably qualified and experienced Engineers and Allied Professionals for immediate employment in the following positions:
Position: OFFICER II
Grade Level: GL.08
Condition for Appointment
- By direct recruitment of candidates possessing a degree in Engineering or related fields registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)
- To undergo two years of pupilage programme.
Requirements/Conditions:
1. Interested Applicants must be graduates of the following fields:
Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture and Quantity Surveying
2. Applicants must hold First Degrees with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper Division.
3. Applicants must not be more than 35 years of age.
4. Applicants must have relevant and verifiable years of previous work experience.
5. Applicants should be COREN-registered (for Engineers) or registered with relevant professional bodies.
6. Applicants are therefore advised to visit NDDC Website, nddc.gov.ng and apply for the vacant positions online.

Position: Officer I
Grade Level: GL.09
Condition for Appointment
- Advancement (promotion) of a confirmed and suitable Engineer II/Officer II who has successfully completed the two-year pupilage programme
- By direct appointment of a candidate possessing the qualification specified for Engineer II/Officer II plus at least two years’ cognate experience.

- By Promotion of confirmed and suitable Engineer I /Officer I who has spent at least three years on the grade.
- By direct appointment of a candidate possessing the qualification specified for Engineer I/Officer I plus at least 5 years post-qualification cognate experience.
