Sifax Haulage and Logistics, a subsidiary of Sifax group is looking for focused and determined individuals who meet the requirement for the position below
Position: Trailer Drivers
The Role
The successful candidate for this position and will be responsible for:
- General maintenance of trailer/truck assigned by the company
- Daily routine checks on the vehicle e.g engine oil, water level e.t.c
- Reporting break-downs and raising work orders for repairs
- Keeping all necessary vehicle particulars in a good condition
- Obeying all road and traffic regulations,
- Ensuring that the Company trailer/trucks is solely in use for company business
- Conveying of Consignments to our depot/dealers and customers in all locations in the country
- Handling any other duties assigned
Requirements
The required candidates should have (or meet) the following:
- Minimum of SSCE, WASC or GCE O’ Level
- At least five (5) years driving experience with trailers/trucks
- Not be more than 45 years as at 1st January, 2012
- A good knowledge of traffic laws and roads signs.
Remuneration
Remuneration attached to each position is in line with the existing rates in the industry.
