Vacancies: Senior-Level Health Specialists, Senior Leadership
Chemonics seeks senior-level health specialists for in anticipated USAID-funded health project to expand the use of best practices in HIV /AIDS throughout West Africa. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making difference in the lives of people around the world.
Position: Senior-Level Health Specialists
Long-and short-term technical assignments may involve the following technical areas:
- HIV/AIDS
- Reproductive health and family planning
- Maternal, Neonatal, and child health
- Nutrition
- Tuberculosis
- Health Systems
- Health communications
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Knowledge management
- Grants management
Qualifications:
- M.P.M., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent combination of education and work experience in health-related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in developing countries with a focus in one of the technical areas listed above (additional experience may be required for specific positions)
- Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects
- Demonstrated leadership. Versatility, and integrity
- Proficiency in English and French preferred
We are also looking for long-term senior leadership positions, including a Chief and Deputy Chief of Party.
Position: Senior Leadership
Responsibilities include:
- Provide overall program direction and technical expertise
- Serve is the project’s principal liaison with USAID, institutions, and client partners
- Provide managerial and technical support to technical specialists
- Supervise project subcomponents, activities, and a diverse professional staff.
Qualifications:
- M.P.M., M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent combination of education and work experience in health-related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in developing countries with a focus in one of the technical areas listed above (additional experience may be required for specific positions)
