We are a World Class Manufacturing Company with a modern automated Fabricating and Galvanizing Steel Plant in Nigeria. We currently require the services of experienced and articulate candidates for the following positions:

 

Position: Sales Manager

Qualification, Experience. Skills and Competency

  • Applicants should have Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline
  • Relevant post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Six (6) years relevant experience in sales or business development within the oil and gas, power and  telecommunication
  • Very good understanding of Fabricated and Galvanized products and their value proposition
  • Advanced selling and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and priorities.
  • Strong supervisory and people management skills
  • Good entrepreneurial orientation.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong networking and relationship management skills
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills

 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Anchor the development of the sale strategy and programmer to achieve the company’s. sates revenue targets.
  • Participate in periodic sales planning and budgeting, monitor sales team performance and implement incentive schemes to achieve sales targets
  • Allocate sales accounts and targets to Sales Officers and monitor sales team performance, and implement incentive schemes to achieve sales targets.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads.
  • Negotiate variations in price , delivery and product specifications with
  • customers,
  • Ensure ongoing  collaboration with Marketing and  Operations
  • functions to  determine effective pricing of products and services
  • Set evaluation parameters to measure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, customer needs and competitor  initiatives and devise strategies  to optimally utilize market opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer.

 

 

Position: IT Manager

Qualification Experience, Skills and Competency

  • Applicants should have  First degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline ,
  • Professional or  post graduate qualification in information Technology
  • or relevant certifications (CCNA. Oracle 10g. and other networking and database management certifications) .
  • Five to eight (5-8) years relevant experience with at least two (2) in a  managerial capacity
  • Good understanding of global leading practices in Information management.
  • Working knowledge of  network architecture, design and management, LAN and WAN management
  • Strong knowledge of network security and data networks
  • Advanced understanding  of database administration
  • Proficiency in relevant  operating  systems
  • In-depth understanding of server network, protocols, and  internet/intranet applications
  • Strong  leaderships, supervisory and people management  skills
  • Good analytical and problem solving  skills
  • High sense of responsibility, accountability and dependability

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Articulate IT strategy, plans and policies for the company in line with the company’s strategy and objectives
  • Determine and implement company wide information systems plan
  • Establish governance frameworks for IT Project Management  Security, IT service Management, enterprise Architecture, Information Security, IT Quality Assurance and Service Performance Management
  • Development policies, processes and procedures for ensuring  quality in the  information systems and various databases
  • Coordinate the selection and procurement of IT hardware
  • Ensure  functionally, maintenance and suitability of IT hardware to support company’s IT requirements
    • Coordinate training/capacity building for new application systems.
    • Oversee the maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with service providers and interact with vendors to resolve problems.
    • Review service reports to ensure IT services are being delivered in a prompt and efficient manner, and technology issues are resolved in accordance with set guidelines
    • Keep abreast of developments and trends and proactively ensure the adoption of relevant practices/ technologies.
    • Ensure continuous evaluation of user needs and develop plans to bridge identified gaps.
    • Champion in the development of a Disaster Recovery Plan.
    • Ensure periodic back-up of company databases.
    • Prepare the  department budget  and  ensure its  effective implementation
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Chief Finance Officer.
