We are a leading and reputable Indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels, in line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the following positions.

 

Position: Clinical Services Officer (Pediatrics)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for the evaluation of ongoing pediatric care and treatment programs, and in the subsequent development of new and/or expanded programs for the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS in infants, children, and teenagers
  • Perform site visits and site assessments of treatment facilities to assess. Initiate, and enhance pediatric care and treatment services
  • Develop linkages with PMTCT programs to ensure follow-up of HIV-exposed infants. Support early infant diagnostic testing initiatives at supported sites.
  • Institute programs to identify HIV-exposed and infected children including pediatric testing programs, pediatric HIV testing in adult clinics, linkages with OVC, etc  Coordinate technical support with other clinical service officers and related technical program units.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced Medical Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years robust clinical experience in HIV/AIDS care and antiretroviral treatment
  • Experience in managing Pediatric patients and country health care program development
  • Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature in Pediatrics, HIV/AIDS
  • Experience in training.

 

Position: Logistics Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning, support and implementation of an efficient logistics and supply chain management system for the organization in accordance with the program requirements
  • Take the lead/responsibility in the tracking, regular monitoring and optimal stocking of the required program materials at supported sites including laboratory reagents, drugs and other consumables across organization’s supported sites including laboratory reagents, drugs and other consumables across organization’s supported sites
  • Inventory analysts of the pharmacy stock using appropriate and applicable monitoring tools, spread sheets and data bases
  • Management of data essential to make available an accurate forecast for procurement at regular intervals using MS-Access inventory management software or other suitable databases
  • Ensuring the monitoring and tracking of pharmaceutical products across organizations supported sites.
  • Serve as in-house resource person to provide guidance on logistics issues. Laise with third party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of required program supplies at field offices/sites.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants should HND/ Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in logistics and store keeping function preferably in an NGO setting
  • Excellent computing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in supply chain management system is highly desired.

 

General Requirements:

All positions require candidates that are  proficient  in the use  of Microsoft  Office  suite of computer applications and internet/Emails.

Significant amounts of travels are required for all positions
