We are a leading and reputable Indigenous non-governmental organization implementing a comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment in partnership with the different tiers of the Government of Nigeria at national, state, local and site levels, in line with the broadened scope and objectives of our work, the need for increased staff capacity around new and enlarged areas of focus have emerged. We therefore require the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic professionals for the following positions.

Responsibilities

  • The  Senior Community/Network Associate coordinates, collaborates with and  implements formal agreements and sub contract will state  owned  health care facilities  and  community/faith based  partners  to implement  program activities.
  • Initiate, seek approval and  implement  community mobilization and empowerment  programs  that support  HIV care  and treatment  program of the  organization
  • Ensure  strong  community linkages to enhance  HIV care and  treatment  services
  • Work in close collaboration with faith based and  community based  organizations to provide comprehensive package of care  for HIV care and treatment program beneficiaries including clinical and psychosocial services
  • Responsible for developing and periodic submission of activity reports relating to community program activities
  • Responsible for ensuring  that items  purchased for use by sub contract recipients are delivered to beneficiaries in timely manner and used for program
  • Mentor facility staff to ensure that the  quality of services is in line with best practices and standards of care
  • Acts as program liaison with sub recipient  partners and ensure sub grantees meet programmatic, administrative, financial and reporting obligations of the grant agreement.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Sociology, Psychology or health related discipline (Masters degree preferred) Minimum four years (4) post NYSC working experience in the implementation and management of health /HIV programs
  • Experience working at community level implementing health/HIV programs Experience working at community level implementing  health/HIV programs
  • Experience with staff supervision and  mentoring
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

 

Position: Supply Chain/ Logistics Officer

Responsibilities:

  • The supply Chain/Logistics Officer will plan, support and implement an efficient logistics and  supply chain management system in accordance with donor requirements and stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria
  • S/he will assist the Director, Supply Chain Management in health commodities supply chain management, from market research and supplier identification to logistics and post-procurement support, warehousing, distribution, utilization and reporting
  • Management of data essential to make available an accurate forecast for procurement at regular intervals using MS-Access inventory management software or other suitable  databases
  • Ensure  the monitoring  and tracking of pharmaceutical products
  • Track, monitor and evaluate the  use of laboratory reagents, materials and consumables

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or other relevant  field
  • Five years relevant experience in supply chain management and HIV/AIDS monitoring and evaluation
  • At least 5 years experience in Pharmacy Logistics and Supply Chain Management in HIV setting
  • Experience in HIV/AIDS monitoring
  • Proficiency in Ms Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and other office packages
  • Proficiency in the use of email and internet
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

 

General Requirements:

All positions require candidates that are  proficient  in the use  of Microsoft  Office  suite of computer applications and internet/Emails.

Significant amounts of travels are required for all positions
