The Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze hereby invites application from suitably qualified candidates for the post of:
Position: Deputy Director Audit (CONTEDISS 14)
Duties:
- The Deputy Director Audit will assist the Bursar in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the financial system of the College.
- Assist the Bursar in the measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of Internal Control System of the College.
- Detail audit of the accounts and records and for toe examination of the system and procedure in force for any irregularity or to an apparent weakness in the accounting procedure.
Qualification and Qualities:
- A good honours degree or HND in Accounting/Finance from a recognized institution of higher learning plus at least 15 years cognate experience.
- In addition, membership of Professorial bodies e.g. ICAN, ANAN, ACCA, etc. is a prerequisite.
- He/she should also show evidence of competence, industry, integrity, good human relations, effective leadership and efficient management of human and material resource.
- Experience in the management of higher education institution finances will be an added advantage.
Other Condition:
Condition of service is as applicable to similar positions in Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria.
