Position: Tendering Manager (MEP)
Requirement
- University Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying
- Relevant professional Qualifications.
- 7 or years of Experience
Job Experience
- Consultancies and contracting (civil and services (M&E) Engineering)
- Summary of Experience & Responsibilities
- Preparation of Tender bill of quantities and other related documents
- Preparation, analysis and Negotiating tender and /or quotations
- Maintain effective database of materials and labor costs to assist in the preparation of project/contract bill of quantity and valuation.
Position: Electrical/Mechanical Engineers (Estimators)
Competence requirements for the job:
- Bsc/HND in Electrical Engineering
- B.sc/HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Highly proficient in Microsoft excel and AutoCAD
Description of responsibilities/functions
- Studying of Received lender documents and generate lists of technical enquiries that may exist to the consultant Client
- Carry out material quantity take off from the received Drawing and Specification and comparing with the received BOQ for any addition or omissions
- Preparing detail breakdown of accessories that make up each BOQ item
- Grouping of material take of into trades according to manufacturers/suppliers in a format required to prepare a Request for quotation to be sent to the costing quantity surveyor
- Documenting all basis for material selection
- Preparing a Technical report of Specified Materials
- Technical and Estimation analysis of received Quotations from suppliers
