Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socio-economic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria, It was established as an affiliate of the Family Health International (FHI360) to sustain FHI’s achievements in strengthening indigenous organizational capacity in Nigeria. AHNi currently has its headquarters in Abuja and Lagos office in Nigeria. To strengthen our operations in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the below position;
Position: Director- Finance
Location: Lagos
Number Required person: (1)
The DIRECTOR-FINANCE will manage responsibility for both accounting and finance for AHNi/Nigeria and ensure compliance with the contractual requirements of funders with the objective of providing professional accountancy services consistent with generally accepted accounting principles.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
- Candidates must have BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of nine (9) years relevant experience with at least five (5) years in international development programs, OR MS/MA in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field and a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience with at least five (5) in international development programs.
- Possession of CPA, ACA, ICAN or recognized equivalent is required. Expert knowledge of donor’s regulations, familiarity with the Nigerian public financial sector and NGOs or CBOs will be an added advantage.
