Position:     Business Development Executives and Managers

Job Summary

The Business Development Executives and Managers will be responsible for driving business growth by championing new business opportunities, capital investment initiatives, operational improvements and strategic alliances. This role will involve the analysis of specific strategies, technologies and markets through the development of financial models, databases and risk assessment tools.

 

He/she has direct responsibility for market, competitor and industry analysis, benchmarking, project proposals, cost analysis and business planning.

 

In addition, he/she will also build and manage relationships with external industry analysts, strategic investors, technical and finance partners, business consultants, Government and other regulators, shareholders and other primary stakeholders. He/she will represent the Company’s interests in commercial, operational and technical alliances, and in presentations and meetings related to the promotion, development and evaluation of business activities within approved policy and authority limits

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1st degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or other related field
  • For the Business Development Executive, minimum of 15 years relevant industry experience, with 3 of these at Senior Management Level and with responsibilities for administrative and leadership duties
  • For the Business Development Manager, minimum of 10 years work experience, at least 3 of which must have been in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Sector or Management Consulting, Corporate Finance within a reputable and structured business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop financial models and other complex analysis and present results in an easy to understand format

Position:     Head Finance

Job Summary

The Head of Finance is responsible for the delivery of Financial strategy in Oando Gas & Power. He/she will also ensure the integration of both operational and financial measures aimed at efficiency, growth and profitability of the business in the long-term. The incumbent will design, lead, monitor and review the execution of all capital funding transactions in support of the OGP business. He/She will have charge of day-to-day finance and accounting transactions while ensuring that effective Treasury (Assets & Liabilities management) and liquidity positions are maintained.

 

In addition, the Head of Finance will play a support role in representing Oando Gas and Power’s and subsidiary companies’ interests in all investment and financial decisions, and in presentations and meetings related to the promotion, development, funding, delivery and evaluation of the company’s operations within approved policy and authority limits. To this end the incumbent is expected to effectively manage the acquisition, use, maintenance and disposal of all capital and financial assets of the company.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1st degree in Finance, Investment Management, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting.
  • Professional Accreditation (ACA). MBA
  • 10 – 15 years cognate work experience as a Financial Controller, Financial or Management Accountant, the last 5 of which must have been in a Senior Management role within a reputable and structured business environment.
  • Possession of track record in raising significant sums of capital for infrastructure-type investments will be a major requirement.

Position:     Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring field compliance with construction and fabrication codes and standards on projects. The incumbent shall monitor, enforce and report compliance and/or noncompliance in aspects associated with construction, commissioning and handover of operations facilities.

 

The position incumbent is expected to be knowledgeable in pipeline engineering and design, piping construction codes, standards, regulation and laws governing the construction and operation of Gas and Power production & distribution facilities as well as applicable general Health, Safety and Environmental laws and practices.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Metallurgical & Material, Electrical & Electronic)
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Construction, Welding Practices or Non destructive testing
  • Professional Certification shall be an added advantage

 

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Understanding of API 1104, ANSI/ASME B31.1/4/8. AWS-D1.1 and other relevant Welding and Construction codes and Standards
  • Knowledgeable in Inspection, NDT and other test methods related to piping construction and operation
  • Dexterity in data analysis and field report compilation
  • Experience in Piping Construction on Oil & Gas and Pipe line Projects
  • Knowledge of Material/Consumable Codes, Procedures and applicable International Standards
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Can read and interpret Data sheets, MTO’s, PFDs, P&IDs AFC drawings and sundry protocols
