Vacancies: Retail Sales Manager, Brand Manager

Due to ongoing expansion and the need to sustain the highest quality services to existing and potential customers, we seek applications from exceptional candidates to fill the following challenging positions.
Position: Retail Sales Manager
Job Objective:
The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all activities associated with Retail sales while ensuring that all sales targets and standards are met/ exceeded.
Key output
- Coordinate the daily activities, of the Retail Sales unit while complying with company standards;
- Ensure that all assigned sales (subscribers and revenue) targets are achieved and /or exceeded on a consistent basis;
- Forecasting and acquisition of new Consumer accounts and expanding business with existing accounts among assigned Consumer segments;
- Monitor and ensure that meetings are arranged with prospective customers and to proactively develop new business opportunities and successfully close sales;
- Demonstrate very strong account management and coordination of the activities of channel partners;
- Ensure that the Retail team consistently maintains strong and professional relationships to promote customer retention;
- Participate in and coordinate trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations if needed;
- Collate and analyze market information and trends including competitor information and to provide timely strategic inputs;
- Excellent communication (oral and written), negotiation and selling skills,
- Achieve and exceed sales target in the area of subscribers and revenue on a consistent basis while converting prospective clients into long term sales relationships and opportunities;
- Obtain new customer information, promptly process payments and orders online;
- Process online orders promptly, set reminders and follow up generated leads to build relationships with prospective customers:
- Build and maintain a high level of product knowledge:

Minimum qualification and Experience:
- A first degree in Marketing, Social Sciences or Humanities with a minimum of Second Class degree (Upper division), from a reputable university, plus at least 5 years sales experience in an organization with a proven record of success.
Position: Brand Manager
Job Objective:
- Successful candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of brand marketing strategies, plans and programs to ensure the achievement of set brand targets.
Key Output
- Manage the development of marketing and sales aid/promotional materials for Sales to effectively promote and generate consistent sales and profit growth;
- Proactively identify and recommend business-building initiatives;
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the brand (forecasting, sales updates) Lead cross functional teams;
- Identify, develop, and launch new & existing concepts and products supporting the brand portfolio;
- Responsible for early commercialization process including qualifying the concept, positioning, pricing, presenting to Sales and retailers, forecasting volume, and getting budget approved:
- Develop rollout plans for new products;
- Monitor product performance against projections;
- Conduct research to determine positioning of new products ;
- Plan and ensure execution of sponsorship program to create maximum brand awareness;
- Present product and marketing programs to Management;
- Manage and coordinate internal marketing research including use of retail data services;
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to work on cross-functional teams in both leadership and member roles;
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Analytical skills, not only for presenting data but also for summarizing the findings and proposing recommendations for future improvement;
- Must possess strong interpersonal and relationship building skills;
- Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organization;

Minimum qualification and Experience:
- A good first degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Social Sciences with a minimum of 2nd class honours (Upper division) from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience, in brand development/brand management
