Due to ongoing expansion and the need to sustain the highest quality services to existing and potential customers, we seek applications from exceptional candidates to fill the following challenging positions.

Position: Human Resources Assistant

Job Objective:

The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and professional support to day-to-day operations of human resources department which include recruitment, training, personnel relations, administration and other task assigned.

 

Key Output:

  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation, of the human resources office;
  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters like personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes; protecting the security of information, data and files;
  • Provide general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms,  arranging meeting/interviews, processing confidential reports and documents, filing employees information and updating, tracking deadlines and expiration of documents
  • Assist in preparation and logistical planning for trainings and other activities;
  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process;
  • Exercise individual judgment while dealing with potential or real troubles on own initiative and bringing them to manager’s attention;
  • Maintaining employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status in timely manner;
  • Interact with and supply information to employees, department heads, and job applicants when necessary;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualification and Experience:

  • A good first degree in personnel management or other related field in humanities Second Class honours degree (Upper division), from a reputable University.
  • A minimum of 3 years administrative or human resources experience in a reputable organization.

 

 

 

Position: Linux Administrator

Job Objectives

The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining  production applications and systems.

 

 

Key Output

  • Administering- Linux Server Environments-(Red Mat,. Centos)
  • Resolving operating system, application software, hardware, and network problems on the Linux platforms;
  • Software installation, maintenance and upgrading;
  • Research and troubleshooting;
  • Routine server administration and maintenance;
  • Server documentation;
  • Ensure high level of server and network security;
  • Manipulate data and log files to provide extensive statistical repotting.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with MySQL and Oracle databases including database optimization,data manipulation and data modeling;
  • Experience with best practices approaches to Infrastructure Management (ITIL, COBIT. etc);
  • Experience with highly available solutions /architectures,
  • Experience with service monitoring and management frameworks
  • Experience with NAS and SAN storage solutions;
  • Experience with Virtualized infrastructures:
  • Experience with disaster recovery setup, failover and support.

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • A good first degree in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum of Second Class honours degree (Upper division), from a top Nigerian or foreign university.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in administrating and troubleshooting Linux Servers with the proven ability to maintain a high level of server and network availability security standards.

 

Position: Sales Engineer

Job Objective:

candidate will be part of the driving force of Swift’s business performance in the Enterprise (business to business) sector, and accountability for sales, market share, brand awareness and new product development.

 

Key output:

  • Enterprise Business solution scoping, design and sales;
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to promote the company’s interests and to position the company as a partner of choice;
  • Develop and  deliver new business opportunities among assigned Enterprise segments
  • Acquisition of new enterprise accounts;
  • Expanded business with existing enterprise accounts;

 

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Must have the drive and capability to meet and beat challenging targets;
  • Strong relationship and lean) building skills; experience in dealing with corporate and government representatives and other senior individuals and stakeholder groups;
  • Delivering results   absolute focus to deliver under pressure in a ever changing business environment;
  • Putting customers first – understand the needs, expectations and requirements of stakeholders;
  • Communicating for impact – effective communication with senior stakeholders inside and outside of the company:
  • Making a personal difference   strong influencing skills and responsive Technical / Professional Expertise;
  • Excellent communication skills including written and verbal communications;
  • Strong presentation skills required, including experience in presenting and influencing a junior and senior audience.

 

 

Qualification and Experience:

  • A first degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. Computer science/ Engineering, Information Technology with a minimum of  2nd class honours (Upper division), from a reputable university.
  • A  minimum of 3 years experience selling E-business solutions in the banking, telecommunications, oil and gas sectors with a proven track record of success.
