The Institution
The Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero was established by the instrument of the Kebbi State University Law No.6 of 2006 and was given official recognition by the National Universities Commission, Abuja to operate on 12th December, 2006. The University commenced full academic activities in the 2007/2008 academic session and has successfully graduated its first batch of graduates during the 2010/2011 academic session.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidate who must have Ph.D degree in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, should be a professor or Reader. In addition, he/she should have served or is a serving Dean of Faculty of Engineering of Head of Department of Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering of a recognized University.
Candidate must also show evidence of scholarly publications in reputable academic journals.
Condition of Service and Salary
Candidate may apply for tenure or contract appointment. Eligible candidates wishing to take up appointment on secondment or transfer of service may also apply. The conditions of service are as obtainable in the Nigerian University System as well as Regulations and condition of Service of Staff, approved by the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero from time to time.
The Salary is as follows
Professor: Conunass 7 N4,580,349.00 to N6,020,163.00p.a
Reader: Conusaa 6 N3,768,331.00 to N5,004,749.00p.a
