Vacancies: Maintenance and Truck Workshop Senior Mechanic, HR Officer
Lafarge Ready Mix (a subsidiary of Lafarge Cement WAPCO Nigeria Plc) is looking for experienced, intelligent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions;
Position: Maintenance and Truck Workshop Senior Mechanic (MTWM 001)
Location of work: Lagos
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Plants and Vehicles are maintained in the most time efficient manner and routine maintenance are being planned and scheduled to minimize downtime.
Candidate’s Profile:
- Degree m auto engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Good working Knowledge of CAT wheel loaders and Mercedes ACTROS concrete mixer trucks
- 2-3 years experience in maintenance of Asphalt or Concrete Plant
- 6-7 years experience “Hands on” in maintenance, engine repair and heavy duty equipment
Position: HR Officer (HRO 001)
Location of work: Lagos
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of staff database
- Prepare employment Contracts and any administrative documents.
- Conduct Recruitment and Selection exercises
- Handle disciplinary issues
- Oversee Employee welfare
Candidate’s Profile:
- Degree in Social Sciences or Humanities.
- Good Organizational Skills
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to work with minimal Supervision
- Computer Literate
- 2-3 years working experience in HR department.
