Position: Operations Manager- Retail Store (Ref: OM/OI/04/12)

 

Job Description:

  • To manage and oversee all administrative and accounting functions within the business.
  • Lead, direct, motivate and develop the retail store team to ensure that the right level of service and support is provided to the business.
  • Good inventory, merchandizing and sales management experience.
  • Effective supply chain management and logistics experience.
  • Organizing special promotions, displays and events

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A university degree or equivalent in Social Sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in major retail store management.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills and strong work ethics and integrity.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
  • Membership of a professional body would be an advantage.
  • Not more than 35 years of age at next birthday.

 

 

Position: Food Outlet Manager (Ref:  RM/02/04/12)

Job Description:

  • To work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that is flavourful and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
  • Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent hi quality
  • of preparation and service. Relationship management with various customers to ensure they are well serviced.
  • Work with other management staff to plan marketing, advertising and any special restaurant functions.
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of
  • kitchen and dining areas.
  • Review and monitor, expenditures to ensure that they conform to budget limitation.
  • Work to improve performance.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Applicant should have a  university degree or equivalent in Hotel/Restaurant Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Good communication and relationship building skills and good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff.
  • Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.
  • Not more than 33 years of age at next birthday.
