Position: Operations Manager- Retail Store (Ref: OM/OI/04/12)
Job Description:
- To manage and oversee all administrative and accounting functions within the business.
- Lead, direct, motivate and develop the retail store team to ensure that the right level of service and support is provided to the business.
- Good inventory, merchandizing and sales management experience.
- Effective supply chain management and logistics experience.
- Organizing special promotions, displays and events
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- A university degree or equivalent in Social Sciences
- Minimum of 5 years experience in major retail store management.
- Good communication and relationship building skills and strong work ethics and integrity.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
- Membership of a professional body would be an advantage.
- Not more than 35 years of age at next birthday.
Position: Food Outlet Manager (Ref: RM/02/04/12)
Job Description:
- To work with chefs and other personnel to plan menus that is flavourful and popular with customers. Work with chefs for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
- Estimate food and beverage costs. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent hi quality
- of preparation and service. Relationship management with various customers to ensure they are well serviced.
- Work with other management staff to plan marketing, advertising and any special restaurant functions.
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of
- kitchen and dining areas.
- Review and monitor, expenditures to ensure that they conform to budget limitation.
- Work to improve performance.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Applicant should have a university degree or equivalent in Hotel/Restaurant Management.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Good communication and relationship building skills and good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff.
- Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.
- Not more than 33 years of age at next birthday.
