Job Profile
This successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership to the ENR HIV M&E strategy at the state level. The Post holder will provide technical assistance to the State Action Committee on AIDS (SACA) and wider State Response on theories, strategies and approaches for monitoring and evaluation at the state level. At an operational level, the M&E technical advisor will support the implementation of ENR M&E activities in the state, providing direct support to SACA, CSOs grantees and other state actor in implementing various approaches outlined in ENR M&E strategy and state research agenda. Under the supervision of the capacity of state ENR staff, SACA key staff and ENR partners at the local, state and national level in programme monitoring and evaluation. The M&E TA will also support improved availability and use of monitoring, evaluation and surveillance data for programme planning, evaluation, and policy advacocy at state level.
Qualifications/Experience:
The desired candidates:
- Must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Demograply, Public Health, Epidemiology or Biostatistics/Statistics
- Must have at least five (5) years proven experience in STI/HIV related surveillance and/or research
- Must have proven experience in implementing the DHIS and NNRIMS systems for data collation and use.
- Must have appreciable of experience in writing research for publications and presenting research findings to public health and policy specialists, media and the general public.
- Must have policy specialists, media and the general public.
- Must have experience in planning and facilitation of training for different cadres of staff in research.
- Must be able to use SPSS, ACCESS, Epi-INFO or STATA at minimum intermediate level.
- Must have good report writing skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Position: Assistant Director, Accounts (based in Abuja)

Job Profile:
This position reports to the Director-Finance and Accounts. The successful candidate will man provide finance schedules to auditors, produce monthly and periodic financial and project accounts reports produce monthly and periodic donor budget monitoring reports, conduct monthly budget /actual review meetings for project managers and project accountants, review staff & vendor payment invoices before forwarding to treasury department. S/He will also ensure review of financial reports from SFH territorial offices and prepare summary reports on corrective actions and circulate after review S/He will also ensure monthly bank reconciliation of financial transactions and resolve all uncleared effects. The successful candidate must be comfortable working at the highest level with government, multilaterals, NGO’s and donor agencies. S/He will be attending project review meetings with donors and is expected to be confident to represent Director-Finance and Accounts at meetings.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required of the position
- Must possess a first degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Business Administration.
- Must possess a professional certification of ICAN or ACCA, Masters degree in Accounting, Business Admin, Finance or General Management will be of added advantage
- Must possess a minimum of ten (10) years post NYSC working experience four (4) of which must have been at senior management level handling and taking decisions on strategic financial matters in a multinational organization or an international NGO.
- Must be proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent financial standards, rule and regulations relating to good financial management.
- Must be of good character with proven impeccable integrity.
