Position:     Mining Manager: (Ref: 3-MMGR)

 

Location: Lagos

Job Outline:

Lead in achieving sales and profit growth for the Mining Aftermarket business by implementing business strategies and activities to deliver parts and service to customers.

 

Responsibility:

  • Full profit and loss statement accountability for mining aftermarket business and Achieving annual sales and profit AOP
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for the development and growth of new and existing aftermarket sales the assigned market territory. Etc.
  • Apply CMI principles whilst maintaining key customer. OEM and supplier contact at all levels.
  • Maintain current and grow new Service on Site contracts with customers
  • Fully implement the Four Pillars of Mining strategies in target markets.
  • Monitor trends, specific issues relating to mining business activities, market opportunities, competitive activity, etc.

 

Requirement:

  • Minimum 7 years mining experience
  • Strong service background
  • Contract management
  • Sales and management experience
  • Good understanding of achieving impact within a Corporate and distribution environment.
  • Formal Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar – Essential
  • Management qualifications – Essential, MBA – Preferred

 

Position:     Contract Manager: (Ref: 4-CMGR2012)

Location: Lagos & Badagry

Job Outline

To control and supervise the day to day operation of the Site Contract Team ensuring all customer and operational targets are met.

Responsibility

  • Account manage designated account/contract seeking opportunities to develop and grow such accounts by introducing and selling the benefits of new and existing products and services
  • Liaise with Customers and efficiently schedule service work (Service Contract. Warranty and Chargeable jobs) to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Create customer loyalty through pro-active communication, to include daily job progress reports on ongoing service interventions
  • Effective coordination/supervision of all service personnel and teams to ensure all service and customer requirements are met
  • Accurately carry out fault diagnostics and repairs to Gas & Diesel Engines and Generators at customer locations across Nigeria and West Afica when required etc.

Requirement

  • Proven man-management skills – Essential
  • Must be able to motivate people at all levels – Essential
  • Technical knowledge gained in a similar industry – Essential
  • Minimum of 5 years experience diagnosing and repairing of Gas & Diesel engines – Essential
  • Mechanical / Electrical experience -Desirable
  • Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting Desirable
  • Formal Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar – Essential
  • Management qualification – Desirable
