Position:     Senior Engineer- Workshop: (Ref: 5-SNRENGR2012)

Location: Lagos

Job Outline

To control and supervise the day to day operation of the Workshop Teams ensuring all customer and operational targets are met

Responsibility

  • Effective coordination/supervision of all Service Personnel and teams, to ensure all Service and Customer requirements are met
  • Regular (daily, weekly & monthly) reviews of team performance with Engineers and Technicians, to ensure performance targets are being met
  • In conjunction with the Service Champion, lead the implantation and ongoing performance improvement of the Service Initiative Process within Mining operations and our customers, etc.

 

Requirement

  • Must be able to motivate people at all levels – Essential
  • Proven man-management skills – Essential
  • Technical knowledge gained in a similar industry- Essential
  • Minimum of 5 years experience diagnosing and repairing of diesel engines -Essential
  • Diesel Engines Mechanical / Electrical experience – Desirable
  • Mechanical/Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting – Desirable
  • Technical Qualification – Essential
  • Management / Business qualification – Desirable/Willing to study external courses
  • Engineering OND/HND or equivalent – Essential

 

 

Position:     Health, Safety, and Environment Leader: (Ref: 6-HSELDR2012)

Location: Lagos

Job Outline:

To provide direction, support and driving HSE initiatives

 

Responsibility

  • Take lead by developing action plans and conducting follow-up audits to address relevant HSE plant issues and adherence to applicable policies and procedures, including improvement and compliance work
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies related to health, safety and environmental
  • Support Corporate initiatives and interface with Corporate entities on health, safety, environmental & security matters
  • Ensure site emergency preparedness
  • Drive world class health, safety, environmental & security performance for the site

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental or related management/engineering field
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • Domestic regulatory requirements for health safety, environmental & security
  • World class health, safety, environmental & security awareness criteria knowledge
  • Technical environmental & safety qualifications
  • QSI System knowledge
  • ISO 9000
  • ISO 14000/18001
