Our Client, a major global player in the Oil and Gas Servicing sector invites qualified individuals to apply for the following open positions:

 

Position:     Technical Support Engineer-Completions (Ref: TSE-C)

 

This position is operationally responsible for offering technical support to Operations and customers to meet project goals and expectations. The position will also assist in sales efforts and provide a platform for customer satisfaction and flawless execution. This position is also responsible for a designated group of personnel training.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate PL technical support activity on a daily basis for a designated group of operators and/or completion contractors and operations department
  • Offer dairy and long term technical support to Operations and clients in general
  • Support revenues and margins generation efforts within the product line
  • Pursue product line opportunities within the completions group
  • Liaise with other coordinators in product line, operations and engineering group to effectively coordinate personnel and materials. Forward plan collective personnel and resources.
  • Support designated group of technical support engineers, with emphasis on safety, quality and career advancement including training of said employees.
  • Assist in all corporate reporting requirements.
  • Prepare tenders for approval by Operations Manager or project manager if and as required.
  • Liaise with other Product line colleagues within the Region and Globally as required.
  • Implement the Company Quality system within your work area and advice of changes to operating procedures and assist in documenting/implementation of these changes.
  • Ensure all job related failure information is inputted into required system as per current company procedures.
  • Responsible for completing end of well reports, hookup drawings and software programs affecting job execution
  • Support customer technical needs in projects and job execution
  • Provides high level of support to the product line(s), technical selling support, key field product applications support, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance support
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in performance of product lines products and services by promptly reporting all non-conformances.
  • Routinely query the database to identify potential problems and lessons learned which may impact day to day operations.
  • Identifies new product opportunities and development strategies
  • Interfaces with product line management and local management to support direction and strategies to best capture market opportunities.
  • Participate in the Company HS&E Management System, including compliance to the policy management standards and specific HS&E procedures. To continuously improve HS&E performance through supervision and accountability within the line management structure of the business unit
  • Ensure all relevant completed paperwork is passed to the Billing department as soon as possible after a job is finished to allow invoice to be prepared as quickly as possible.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Company HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.
  • Perform duties as may be assigned by Project Manager or Operations Manager

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field of study.
  • 5+ years related experience in Completion Systems
  • Completion of supervisory/leadership training preferred

 

Desired/Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of Products.
  • Ability to supervise and lead employees
  • Thorough understanding of completion systems (cased hole, open hole and intelligent completion systems)
  • High level knowledge about technology and proper application of tools within four or more product lines in the oil and gas servicing industry
  • Thorough understanding of down hole hydraulics and rig operations
  • Complete knowledge of forces affecting downhole completion tools and
  • Working knowledge of assembling and installing downhole completion equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of customer requirements in the oilfield environment
  • Thorough knowledge of completions design and applications
  • Ability to use skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development
  • Ability to establishes strategies for achieving individual or work unit goals
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

 

 

Position:     Manager Sales-Completion Systems

 

This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for the business segments completions business unit or product line and assists with the development of short and long range sales goals.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Co-ordinate sales and marketing activity on a daily basis for a designated location in Completion Systems
  • The role of the Sales Manager is to effectively manage the execution of integrated sales and marketing activities involving multiple completion systems product lines.
  • To ensure that the client’s expectations in terms of sales and technical needs are exceeded.
  • Have effective deployment of appropriate management systems and effective organization, communication and motivation of the sales team
  • Offer support to Operations as required for revenue generation and technical needs
  • Responsible for Sales and marketing operations. Pursue product line sales and upsell opportunities with the sales and operations team.
  • Liaise with other coordinators in operations product line and engineering group to effectively co-ordinate sales activities.
  • Manage designated sales team, with emphasis on safety, quality and career advancement including performance.
  • Prepare tenders and quotes for approval by Operations Manager and Sales Director as required.
  • Control and approval, for final review by Operations Manager and Sates Director of expense reports, holidays and offshore claims of designated reports.
  • Liaise with other Product line colleagues within the Region and Globally and other Product Lines as required to ensure project and sates tasks are completed
  • Implement the Company Quality system within your work area and advice of changes to operating procedures and assist in documenting/ implementation of these changes.
  • Ensure all job related failure information is inputted into Alert System as per company procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in performance of product line products and services by promptly reporting all non-conformances, Routinely query the database to identify potential problems and lessons learned which may impact day to day operations.
  • Participate in the Company HS&E Management System, including compliance to the policy management standards and specific HS&E procedures. To continuously improve HS&E performance through supervision and accountability within the line management structure of the Geo-market.
  • Ensure and work with operations for all relevant completed paperwork, purchase orders, etc is passed to the Billing department as soon as possible after a job is finished to allow invoice to be prepared as quickly as possible.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Company HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.
  • Handles other duties or projects as deemed required by operations manager and sales director

 

Basic Qualification:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related fields or its equivalent.
  • 10+ years’ experience in an oilfield operations environment

 

Desired/Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

  • Complete knowledge of Cased and Open Hole completion systems and operations including, intelligent systems, Frackpacking and Open hole graveipacking and WBI systems
  • Must be able to lead by example, a natural team leader who is authoritative, decisive, direct and able to influence the client and subordinates
  • Excellent communication skills. Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Good expertise in sales and marketing
  • Must be a good communicator at all levels with a multi-national team of individuals
  • IT, presentation and language skills are major advantages
  • Fundamental knowledge of commercial and contract language
  • Ability to coach others. Ability to review terms and conditions of contract documents
  • Must have ability to manage commercial, technical and legal situations with a vision to manage all aspects of a diverse range of services
  • Familiarity with products and services of oil and gas servicing industry is a major advantage
  • Ability to represent the company and position as an ‘ambassador’ when dealing with the client or other external parties
  • Offer support to operations and clients through training, sales, marketing and customer satisfaction
  • Thorough understanding of customer requirements in the oilfield environment
  • Proficient in the use of PC’s
  • Ability to use skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development
