Our Client, a major global player in the Oil and Gas Servicing sector invites qualified individuals to apply for the following open positions:

 

Position:     Field Specialist – Completions (Ref: FS – C)

 

This position is responsible operationally for all designated planning, design, testing and installation jobs, tasks and other related projects. The role will work with team members to ensure that jobs are properly planned, prepared and setup ensuring that QC and agreed procedures are followed.

 

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Should be computer literate and possess the ability to read technical literatures
  • Competent in running multiple medium to high risk applications in the Completion systems
  • Carry out QA-QC on equipment
  • Build, test and load out equipment for offshore installation
  • Mentor team members and trainees
  • Liaise and coordinate the preparation and installation of tools and equipment
  • Check equipment on location, liaise with the company representatives on the rig and advise customer of installation requirements
  • Ensure that equipment and tools are run and installed according to Company procedures
  • Prepare pipe tallies, installation procedure and all paper work and service tickets to be signed by the company representatives.
  • To be responsible for carrying out tool box talks, crew JSA’s and rig site activities related to BH jobs
  • Thorough knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations
  • Pursue product line opportunities with above group.
  • Thorough mechanical and application proficiency with Completion systems and products in at least three product lines
  • Continues to expand and apply application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Completions and/or other product groups
  • Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job.
  • Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
  • Uses experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality
  • May conduct on-the-job training for some Completions application as required
  • Handles special projects as assigned by supervisor and operations manager
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Company’s Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.
  • Liaise with other coordinators in product line and engineering group to effectively coordinate personnel and materials.
  • Manage designated group of field employees, with emphasis on safety, quality and career advancement including training of said employees.
  • Prepare quotes for clients for approval by supervisor and Operations Manager if and as required.
  • Perform weekend on call duties when required
  • Implement the Company Quality system within your work area and advice of changes to operating procedures and assist in documenting/implementation of these changes.
  • Ensure all job related failure information is input to First Alert as per current company procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in performance of product lines products and services by promptly reporting all non-conformance. Routinely query the database to identify potential problems and lessons learned which may impact day to day operations
  • Participate in the Company HS&E Management System, including compliance to the policy management standards and specific HS&E procedures. To continuously improve HS&E perfoimance through supervision and accountability within the line management structure of the business segment
  • Ensure all relevant completed paperwork is passed to billing as soon as possible after a job is finished to allow invoice to be prepared as quickly as possible.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Company HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.
  • Other duties as deemed required by Supervisor and Operations Manager

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of College qualification or equivalent essential
  • Two year Technical Degree (OND, HND) preferred.
  • Industry experience and product line training required
  • 5+ years experience in an oilfield operations and completions Systems (Cased Hole, Open Hole, Intelligent Systems, Sand Control, completion systems and operations including, intelligent systems, Frackpacking and Open hole gravelpacking and WBI systems)

 

 

Position:     Sales Representative –Production Chemicals (Ref: FSC-F&C)

 

This position is responsible for providing Sales Staff and Field Engineers/Operators with consistent, state-of-the-art sales support in technical design and proposal production. To grow the company’s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry by ensuring that services rendered by the Company offer innovative solutions of the highest quality.

 

Key Responsibilities /Accountabilities:

  • Provide support for the product line(s), technical selling, key field product applications, drilling fluids product, and/or completion product performance.
  • Liaise with Clients, understanding and giving support to meet their requirements.
  • Coordinate daily activity and provides technical guidance to field and liquid mud plant staff.
  • Generate fluid programs, plan and execute drilling projects as assigned
  • Supervise laboratory, warehouse, grinding plan, dry bulk and liquid mud plant activities.
  • Assist with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions
  • Investigate unusual or unsatisfactory product or operational performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance with Company’s HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Company Core Values.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 10+ year’s related experience.

 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in drilling fluid products and related drilling/completions application.
  • Good understanding of environmental requirements and solids control equipment.
  • Thorough understanding of onshore laboratory support, fluid related QA/QC testing procedures
  • Good understanding of customer requirement in the oil and gas sector
  • Thorough knowledge of grinding, dry bulk and liquid mud plant operations
  • Proficient in use of computer based programs related to application of products
  • Effective communication skill: written and verbal.
  • Good analytical skills.
