Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following Academic positions in Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi.
Position: Chief Lecturer
Department: Candidates are required in the following departments
Ceramic Technology, Mass Communication, Accountancy, Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Public Administration and Marketing
Salary Scale: (CONPCASS 09: N4.127,668- N5.407,503 per annum)
Qualifications
Candidates desiring to be appointed for this position should have M.Sc/MA in the relevant fields from a recognized institution with at least, 14 years of teaching/approved research and industrial work experience or a Ph .D with 12 years cognate experience.
In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should have evidence of the following publications:
- Four papers published in reputable journals.
- Three other papers presented at National/International Conference/ Seminars.
- Not less than 4 meaningful chapters contribution in standard textbook(s)or
- one standard Textbook.
Position: Principal Lecturer
Department: Candidates are required in the following departments
Ceramic Technology, Mass Communication, Accountancy, Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Public Administration and Marketing
Salary Scale (CONPCASS 08: N3,363,134 – N4,462,271 per annum)
Qualifications
- Candidates applying for the position must have M.Sc/MA in the relevant disciplines with a minimum of 11 years of relevant cognate experience or a Ph.D in the relevant fields from a recognized institution with at least 9 years of teaching/applied research.
- In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should have evidence of the following publications:
(i) Three (3) journal papers published and three Conference/ Seminar Papers.
(ii) Not less than three (3) meaningful chapters contribution in Standard Textbook(s) and three (3) Conference/Seminar papers.
(iii) One Standard Textbook and five (5) Conference/Seminar papers,
(iv) Any of (1) or (2) or (3).
Position: Senior Lecturer
Department: Candidates are required in the following departments
Ceramic Technology, Mass Communication, Accountancy, Fashion Design and Clothing Technology, Public Administration and Marketing
Salary Scale:(CONPCASS 07: N2.733.869 – N3.643.204 per annum)
Qualifications
- Candidates for this position should possess M.Sc/MA in the relevant fields from a recognized institution with at least 8 years on-the-job cognate experience with proven ability for applied research and production work, or Ph.D ; in the relevant fields with at least 6 years cognate experience.
- In addition to the above requirements, the candidate should have evidence of the following publications:
i) Two Journal papers published in reputable journals and two Conference/Seminar papers or
ii) Not less than two meaningful chapters contribution in standard Textbook(s) and three Conference/Seminar papers.
