Vacancies: General Manager, Auditor, Depot Manager
We are a fast growing, dynamic and goal oriented Oil and Gas Trading Company based in Port Harcourt. We are seeking competent individuals to fill the following vacant positions in our organization.
Position: General Manager
Job Requirement
- Minimum of 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas trading /marketing function in similar position.
- Candidate will be responsible for the overall management of staff and demonstrate initiative to improve processes.
- Key focus will be the ability to engage at diverse level, with the objective of implementing decisions.
- Ability to deputize for the MD/CEO in business development and related business.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to develop and present an effective strategic plan to the Managing Director.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships between cross-functional business units.
- Experience in managing diverse workforce.
- Must be able to resolve complex issues relating to the day to day operations of the company.
Educational Requirements:
- Applicants Bachelor’s Degree/ HND in any Social/ Management Science with minimum of Second Class Lower Degree.
- MBA/ Professional Qualification will be an added advantage
Position: Auditor
Job Requirement
- Must possess a Minimum of 7 years experience in the Oil & Gas Trading & Marketing, reputable Accounting firm or bank.
- Must be able to Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Report to management about asset utilization and audit results, and recommend changes in operations and financial activities.
- Must be able to Prepare detailed reports on audit findings
- Assisting in monitoring product receipt
- Monitoring stock movement.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions
- Examine and evaluate financial and information systems, recommending controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree /HND in Accounting with minimum of Second Class Lower.
ACA will be an added advantage.
Position: Depot Manager
Job Requirement
- Must possess a minimum of (7) years experience in depot operations of a petroleum products trading company, two of which must be at Depot Manager/Assistant Depot Manager.
- He/ She must be able to coordinate and supervise depot operations with commitment to achieve highest levels of safety, efficiency and effectiveness.
- He / She must be responsible for stock accounting from discharge/reception to truck -out and to render accurate reports at agreed intervals and within prescribed deadlines.
- He/ She must ensure proper scheduling of all operating resources and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and/ or idle time within the depot operations.
- He/She must demonstrate clear understanding of all statutory/legislative guidelines and regulations governing the operation of an oil depot and ensure they are strictly adhered to and implemented.
- Work out an effective training and development programs for all Depot staff based on their competences and drive the implantation of succession planning within the Depot operations.
Educational Requirements.
Applicants should have Bachelor’s Degree/ HND in Chemical / Petrol Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with minimum of Second Class Lower. Safety experience is a must.
MBA/ Professional Qualification will be an added advantage.
