Vacancies: Drilling Supervisor, Cost Accountants

Positions are available for the following qualified candidates:
Position: Drilling Supervisor
Requirement
- Applicant should have Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or any Engineering degree (minimum of second class upper degree). A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum fifteen (15) years experience in the oil industry and eight (8) years’ continuous experience in a Drilling Supervision position with a good Operator(s) track record
- Cognate experience and knowledge of supervision of drilling and work over operations on land, swamp, shallow and deep water offshore environments, including supervising service providers, organising and controlling logistics within the operating area, endorsing service tickets, monitoring well cost and submitting a daily work cost trail
- Must have training and certification in IWCF/Well Control
- Must be proficient in the use of applicable software
- Must not be over 45 years of age
Position: Cost Accountants
Requirement
- Candidates will be responsible for estimating and managing well construction costs and producing easily understood daily/weekly/monthly reports
- Minimum of ten (10) years post-ICAN Final Certificate experience
- Minimum of inn (10) years relevant experience in a reputable audit firm or in the Finance department of oil companies
- Must have cognate experience and sufficient knowledge in the following:
- Designing and maintaining accounting and budgetary control systems as well
- 35 Statutory books of accounts
- Collating, processing and posting of all approved invoices, payment vouchers and transaction journals
- Preparation of Financial Statements and relevant schedules to Management Accounts
- Maintaining process flow of all financial instruments from the Corporate Head Office
- Preparation of periodic budgets of companies and monitoring the performance of budgets through variance reporting and certification of all vouchers for accounting entries
- Preparation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documentation
- Hands-on experience in well costs
- Must be proficient in the use of accounting software
- Must be over 30 years of age
