Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Subsea Engineering, Drilling and Production Engineering, Controls and Mechanical Field Services for oil and gas, X-mas Tree Engineering
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with excellent grades
  • NB: Oil & Gas technicians (eg., welders, fitters, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Handle the timely maintenance of hydro-mechanical, electrical or electronic repair, test and servicing of subsea controls equipment ensuring high product quality to achieve a high customer satisfaction index. Responsible for production control equipment. WOCS. drilling equipment – assembly, repair and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), pressure testing and fluid sampling; and handling tasks relevant to core trade skills (tube fitting, electronic assembly, etc).

 

Qualifications/Requirements.

  • NHC/TC certification in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ cognate experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with customers
  • Proactive team player with good fault finding skills

 

 

Position: Workshop Lead Service Engineer (Controls)

Job number: 1517715; Eligibility: Nigerian/Expatriate

 

Responsibilities

Manage and control the rental functions within business unit while ensuring  compliance with company QHSE systems. Install, commission, maintain, repair and fault find company supplied production controls; prepare service reports, pre-mobilisation briefs/reports; and  active participation in the HELP programme.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • NHC/TC certification in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Experience with software/Hydraulic/Electric/Electronics
  • 5 years’ operational experience
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea controls  (Levels 3 in  competency passport)
  • Good understanding of QHSE within the oil and gas  industry
  • Experience managing a team of workshop/service personnel
  • Ability to interact with customers on a daily basis.
